Morton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sudan Hornets. One positive for the Indians, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sudan, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5-1.

Morton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against New Deal on the 25th. As for Sudan, they have also already played their next contest, a 19-7 win against Lockney on the 25th.
