Caroline and Eastern View are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Cavaliers will take on the Cyclones at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Caroline's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Eastern View's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

The team relied heavily on Baylor Storke, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Chayce Gustard also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Caroline always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Eastern View hadn't done well against Courtland recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cyclones came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cyclones.

Eastern View pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Caroline, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Everything went Caroline's way against Eastern View in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Caroline made off with a 12-0 victory. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Cyclones have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
