The Stone Mountain Pirates lost against the Westminster Wildcats back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. Stone Mountain fell  48-39 to Westminster. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Stone Mountain in their matchups with Westminster: they've now lost seven in a row.
 Stone Mountain's loss  came despite strong showings from  Makayla Wilson and  Shameon King.  Wilson  scored 29 points along with four  steals, while  King  dropped  a double-double on ten points and 12  rebounds. That was a full 74.4% of Stone Mountain's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.
 Stone Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Westminster, their win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 14-5.
 Stone Mountain and Southwest DeKalb will face off  at 4:00  p.m.  on February 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Southwest DeKalb will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  victory, something Stone Mountain surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westminster, they and Stephenson will face off  at 3:00  p.m.  on February 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
