The Tampa Bay Tech Titans won against the Lennard Longhorns last Tuesday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Tampa Bay Tech strolled past Lennard with points to spare, taking the game 42-27. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Tampa Bay Tech also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Tampa Bay Tech's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kalese Salter, who scored 22 points along with five steals. Salter hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Azjannie Culberth, who scored 12 points along with three steals and two blocks.
The win makes it two in a row for Tampa Bay Tech and bumps their season record up to 6-7. As for Lennard, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tampa Bay Tech and Middleton will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Middleton is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
