Football Recap: Salina Skates Past Wyandotte with Ease

Salina had won four straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped up to 6-1 to make it five. They blew past the Wyandotte Bears 42-13. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six matchups by 29 points or more so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wyandotte fell to 6-1. They were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the three contests prior), but Salina's defense proved too tough.

Although Wyandotte took the loss, they still got scores from Hunter White and Hagen Lankford.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Salina is set to challenge their familiar foe Kansas at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Wyandotte will take on rival Commerce at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
