After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Biggsville West Central, Abingdon/Avon was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats 13-12. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tornadoes needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
