Even though the Central A & M Raiders scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, the Meridian Hawks still came out on top. Meridian strolled past the Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 77-58. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Meridian also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Meridian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brooks Brown led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. Sebastian Hill was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds.
