Midwest Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Jonathan Pearson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Tri-County's Jonathan Pearson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Pearson rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102). That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.
If history really does repeat itself, Pearson might just drop another big game when he faces off against Bowman Academy on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Pearson saw the Eagles), he rushed for 171 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries.
