 Meanwhile,  after a string of four wins, Darien's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They came up short against  Greenwich, falling  5-1. While losing is never fun, Darien can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 61st, while Greenwich are ranked 20th).
 Notre Dame Prep's victory bumped their record up to 4-10-2. As for Darien, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1.
