Bristol Eastern extended their losing streak  (dating back to last season) to four  on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were  outmatched by the Berlin Redcoats and fell  42-6.  Trevin Guardarrama threw for 84 yards  on six of 12 attempts.   Jacob Kingsley was his top target, picking up 81 receiving yards.  On the ground,  Lincoln Bashaw rushed for 47 yards and one  TD.
As for Berlin, their victory was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 27 points thus far.
 Berlin can attribute much of their success to  Eli Rice, who rushed for 80 yards and one  touchdown on only six carries.  Nick Balicki got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
 Looking ahead, Bristol Eastern will head out on the road to  face off against  Farmington  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. This will  be the Lancers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Berlin, they will host Wethersfield  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
