The Briarfield Academy Rebels will be playing at home against the Northeast Baptist Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Briarfield Academy has 11 straight wins, Northeast Baptist has 15 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Briarfield Academy stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Central School 60-27 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-17.
Meanwhile, Northeast Baptist was beaten by Riverdale Academy 82-10 on Tuesday.
Briarfield Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. As for Northeast Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
Everything came up roses for Briarfield Academy against Northeast Baptist in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 61-12 victory.
