Section 6 B - South recap October 22, 2013
Dunkirk's Rashad Graham recorded the longest rushing play in Section 6 B - South this season in his game against Fredonia last week. Graham ran for 60 yards on the play and finished with 214 on the day as his team fell to the Hillbillies.
Nick Sarratori and Alex Smythe provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Pioneer. The connection was good for 53 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Eden's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Sarratori threw for 65 and 1 touchdown and Smythe had 65 yards receiving. On the ground Smythe chipped in 228 yards.
Smythe was a force in the backfield as the Raiders topped the Panthers.
Smythe was a passing and rushing force as Eden defeated Pioneer. Smythe's favorite target this week was Smythe, who caught 2 passes for 65 yards.
Smythe was the best wideout in the league this week as Chuck Tilley's team topped James Duprey's team.
Eden's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sarratori has thrown for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Smythe has 7 catches for 83 yards.
Alden extended the longest winning streak in Section 6 B - South this week by beating East Aurora/Holland, 35-22. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Bulldogs.
