Make it eight blowout wins for the Baldwin Braves this season. They blew past Howard 60-35. Given Baldwin's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while Howard is ranked 377th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Baldwin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isaiah Dennis, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Dennis hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Tremarius Lawrence was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five assists and five steals.
Baldwin is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Howard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Baldwin will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Perry at 7:30 p.m. As for Howard, they will head out on the road to face off against Spalding at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Spalding will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
