The Wadsworth Grizzlies will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Woodridge Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wadsworth is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
Wadsworth pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 67-56 to North Royalton. While losing is never fun, Wadsworth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 509th, while North Royalton is ranked 117th).
Meanwhile, Woodridge was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 51-46 to Roosevelt.
Wadsworth's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Woodridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
