The Pennsauken Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to Westampton Tech 45-40. If Pennsauken hoped to take revenge for the 65-43 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Shakur Anderson was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Alexander Jeanty, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Pennsauken's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6. As for Westampton Tech, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pennsauken will take on Northern Burlington at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Northern Burlington is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Westampton Tech, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Holy Cross at 5:15 p.m. Hopefully Holy Cross focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
