The Pender Pendragons and the Pierce Bluejays will face off  at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Pender is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Pender saw some tournament action  on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cedar Catholic 68-41. Fans of the Pendragons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+  points.

  Hadley Walsh was  her usual excellent self,  going 11 for 18  on her way to 30  points and eight  rebounds. The  contest was  her fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maya Dolliver, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and ten  rebounds.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Pierce's way against South Sioux City on Friday as Pierce made off with  a  47-25 win.
 Pierce's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Pender, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
 Pender beat Pierce 55-45  in their previous matchup  back in December of 2022. Will Pender repeat their success,  or does  Pierce have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
