Hammond had to settle for second on Saturday, but Jonathan Jackson sure wasn't going down easily. Jackson wasn't messing around, putting up four points and nine rebounds. The game was his third straight with two or more steals.

Jackson and Hammond will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Salmen at 6:15 p.m. on January 5, 2026. Jackson will face off against Marley McKnight, the Spartans' star power forward. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game.
