Canyon View owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. Everything went their way against the Paradise Valley Trojans as the Canyon View Jaguars made off with a 7-0 victory. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

Brock Berlan was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Colin Mowrey was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Canyon View and bumps their season record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Paradise Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Canyon View will face off against North Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Paradise Valley has already played their next match (against Lakewood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
