Goessel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 68-39 loss at the hands of the Linn Bulldogs. One positive for the Bluebirds, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Goessel's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Linn, their victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the court as they've already faced off again: they played to a 0-0 draw on Saturday.
