Samir Crosby Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Greensburg Central Catholic's Samir Crosby, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Crosby rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102.7). He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble, made eight total tackles, and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Unfortunately for Jeannette, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Crosby. When Crosby last faced the Jayhawks back in October of 2023, he rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and a touchdown.
