The Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 41-17. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cobleskill-Richmondville also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Despite the loss, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk saw an underclassman step up: Hayden Wolfe dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. This was only their tenth loss (out of 13 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
Cobleskill-Richmondville's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
Cobleskill-Richmondville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-25 victory vs. La Salle Institute on the 9th. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk has also already played their next matchup, a 44-34 defeat against Ichabod Crane on the 7th.
