Tri-Cities Prep put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Highland Scots  a   29-0 shutout.
 Tri-Cities Prep got a  massive  performance out of  Owen Janke, who  got on base  in all five of his plate appearances with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and five  runs. What's more,  Janke posted three  hits, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024.  Will Balcom was another key player,  firing off three  triples, three  runs,  and three  RBI while going 3-for-4.
Tri-Cities Prep's victory was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Highland,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Cities Prep will host Cascade  at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will square off against Goldendale at 3:00  p.m.  on March 28th.
