Fivay is 2-8 against Hudson since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Falcons will head out on the road to take on the Cobras at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Fivay put up the most runs they have all season on Thursday. They put the hurt on Anclote with a sharp 20-1 win. The Falcons have beaten the Sharks the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Sharks has come to flipping the script.

Morgan Bozarth made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bozarth was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs while going 2-for-3. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abby Wojcik, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Jeighlynd Dorsey, who scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Fivay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Hudson beat Pasco 10-6 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cobras.
Gracie Gutierrez looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.
On the hitting side, Alivia Evans was a standout: she scored four runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4. Miley Clarke was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
Fivay's record is now 5-10. As for Hudson, their record now sits at 5-8.
Fivay might still be hurting after the 13-2 loss they got from Hudson in their previous matchup back in February. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
