Even though the Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks scored an imposing 76 points on Thursday, the IMG Academy Blue Ascenders still came out on top. IMG Academy Blue managed a 81-76 win over Jordan Christian Prep. The win was familiar territory for IMG Academy Blue who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, Jordan Christian Prep still got an impressive performance from Dan Manoka, who scored 23 points. Manoka continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Daniel Osasjoshua, who scored 16 points.
IMG Academy Blue's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Jordan Christian Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. IMG Academy Blue will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against North Broward Prep at 2:30 p.m. on January 27th. North Broward Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully IMG Academy Blue likes a good challenge. As for Jordan Christian Prep, they will head out on the road to take on Varsity Opponent on Saturday.
