The Winterboro Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Vincent Yellow Jackets with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Winterboro blew past Vincent 47-3 at home. Fans of Winterboro have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Winterboro's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaniya Duncan, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds. Duncan is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelyn Jones, who scored 11 points along with 9 steals.
Winterboro's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Vincent, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Winterboro will head out on the road to face off against Alabama School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Alabama School for the Deaf is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Vincent won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Moody at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Moody will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
