The Loranger Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Lakeshore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Louisiana (Loranger is ranked 184th, while Lakeshore is ranked 166th).
Loranger pushed their score all the way to 38 two Fridays ago, but even that wasn't enough to win. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 46-38 to Pearl River, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. That means Loranger has now suffered back-to-back defeats.
Meanwhile, Lakeshore's 11-3 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell 21-14 to Salmen on Friday.
Despite the defeat, Lakeshore got a solid performance out of Kato Pichon jr, who rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Pichon jr's longest rush was for an incredible 98 yards.
The losses dropped Loranger to 2-5 and Lakeshore to 1-4.
Loranger might still be hurting after the 35-13 defeat they got from Lakeshore when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Can Loranger avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
