Marco Castro's Big Game Leads Kankakee Valley over Highland
Kankakee Valley's five-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Marco Castro. Castro did his part (and then some), rushing for 213 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, and also picking up 32 receiving yards for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Castro could be in store for another big game when he takes on Munster on Friday. Castro rushed for 320 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry the last time he and the Mustangs duked it out back in October of 2023.
