After flying high against the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers last Friday, the Syracuse Academy of Science Atoms came back down to earth. Syracuse Academy of Science took a serious blow against the Eagles on Monday, falling 74-35. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Syracuse Academy of Science has scored all season.
Jordan-Elbridge got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Erin Lavancha out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Ava Hildebrant was another key contributor, scoring 25 points along with three steals.
Syracuse Academy of Science's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Jordan-Elbridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Syracuse Academy of Science won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Brothers at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Christian Brothers Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Jordan-Elbridge, they will head out on the road to take on the Bearcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
