Medina  posted seven  points in addition to five  rebounds and three  steals, while  Quiroga  scored 11 points and three  steals.  It was another big night for  Aspen McClees, who  dropped  a double-double with 23 points and 13  boards for Gilbert. McClees is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Contessa Ivy, who  put up 11  points along with five  rebounds and four  steals.
Sunnyside's defeat dropped their record down to 28-4. As for Gilbert, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record  this season.
