Charlotte Salmon made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, San Manuel had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Hayden on Tuesday as they made off with an 18-8 win. The Miners' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.
Audrey Steele made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off seven hits. Steele was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Marisela Guisa was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Smith, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
