On Friday Coldwater take on Byhalia at 7:00 PM. Coldwater come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-51, which was the final score in Coldwater's tilt against Biggersville last week. Coldwater were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-36.
Byhalia had a rough outing against Independence two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Byhalia came out on top against Caledonia with a 28-14.
Byhalia's victory lifted them to 3-2 while Coldwater's defeat dropped them down to 1-4. In their victory, Byhalia relied heavily on junior Charles Powell, who rushed for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns. Coldwater will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
