Leroy Greene Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They came up short against  the Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats, falling  14-4.
  Irene Aceves was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Marley Nava, who  went 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  double.
Leroy Greene Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leroy Greene Academy will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Foresthill at 4:00  p.m.  on April 9. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, they will square off against Aspire Langston Hughes Academy at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
