Despite the loss, Pinnacle Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Evan Bridges, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bridges has scored all season. Cody Humphries was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nebo Crossing Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaac Grubbs, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Grubbs has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner McKinney, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds.
Pinnacle Classical Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Nebo Crossing Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.
Pinnacle Classical Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Community Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Community Christian Academy is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Nebo Crossing Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Christian Family Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th.
