Clovis East came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Clovis West Golden Eagles. The game was the first time the Timberwolves have beaten the Golden Eagles on their field since April 20, 2022.
Chloe Solis looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Carly Arredondo was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February of 2024. Natalie Lewis also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
