Cisco lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Bangs, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Loboes put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 16-1 win on Friday. Considering the Loboes have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Aubrey Corpus made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one double.
In other batting news, AJ Pevey was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four runs, two triples, and two RBI. That's the most triples she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Izabella Frankfort, who went 2-for-3 with four runs.
