Deandre Nance's big game helped extend Seventy-First's winning streak to nine on Friday. Nance was dynamite, rushing for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 120 yards and a touchdown while completing 90% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards.
Nance must have Lumberton's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Nance rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 75 yards and a touchdown on only six passes the last time he and the Pirates duked it out back in October of 2023.
