If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Zillah. On Friday they take on Goldendale at 7:00 PM. Zillah are coming into the contest hot, having won three in a row.
Zillah took the game and then some with a 48-0 win last week over Naches Valley.
Meanwhile, after a dominant victory in their matchup two weeks ago, Goldendale were humbled. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-49 to La Salle. Goldendale were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.
Zillah's win lifted them to 3-0 while Goldendale's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. We'll see if Zillah's success rolls on or if Goldendale are able to steal their positive momentum.
