The New Lexington Panthers lost against the Warren Warriors back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. New Lexington was the victim of a tough 52-29 loss at the hands of Warren.
Abby Wilson and Chloe Dick certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Wilson scored 8 points, while Dick scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds. Dick scored a full 31% of New Lexington's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
New Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Warren, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
New Lexington will head out on the road to face off against Coshocton at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Coshocton comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Warren, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
