Cedar Park's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Faulkner, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nabil Ismail, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Cedar Park's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Leander, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season.
Cedar Park will head out on the road to take on the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rouse will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. As for Leander, they will be playing at home against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lockhart is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
