The St. Albans Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season. Everything went their way against St. James on Saturday as St. Albans made off with a 88-68 win. Winning may never get old, but St. Albans sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
It was another big night for Kahuranaki Treacher, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Wills, who scored 14 points.
St. Albans' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.5 points per game. As for St. James, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
St. Albans will be playing at home against Avalon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. James, they will head out on the road to face off against Maret at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
