Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coral Park to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ariel Brito, who scored ten points. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for him. Geovanni Carmenate was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Despite the loss, Miami Beach still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Lieberperson, who scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Lieberperson scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Baptiste T, who scored ten points.
Coral Park's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-5. As for Miami Beach, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coral Park will be home for the holidays to greet Varela at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Varela is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Miami Beach, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Mourning at 7:30 p.m. on December 20, 2023. Mourning will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 734th, while Miami Beach is ranked 343rd).
