San Dimas was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fourth in Valle Vista. The Saints defeated Wilson 58-7 earlier in the week.
Jayson Miller was the best wideout in the league this week as Baldwin Park topped Nogales. Miller tallied 5 receptions for 86 yards. Raymen Baraza helped Baldwin Park's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 78 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Braves' Michael Moran and Miller have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-9 quarterback Moran has thrown for 1,450 yards this season, while Miller has 26 catches for 549 yards. Fausto Martinez from San Dimas leads the league in rushing with 446 yards.
An important game coming up in Valle Vista this week will be when Northview takes on Pomona. The Vikings are currently in third, while the Red Devils are in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Northview takes on Pomona. Marcel Perez's team has allowed 90 points this season, while Aaron Jamieson's team has given up 49. The Vikings allowed 28 points last week as they beat Covina.
Bill Zernickow's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 58 points on the Wildcats. Josh Avila ran for 40 yards in the win.
