South Christian had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Kelloggsville on Tuesday. The Sailors never let the Rockets get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Sailors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

South Christian pushed their record up to 17-14 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Kelloggsville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-25.

Looking ahead, South Christian will host Godwin Heights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Kelloggsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
