After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against South Mecklenburg, Palisades was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They blew past the Olympic Trojans 20-1. The Pumas haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
 Zahria Montgomery made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. What's more,  she posted three  strikeouts, the most she's  had since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. That  stolen base marked the first that  she  snagged this season.

 In other batting news, Palisades got a  massive  performance out of  Sanaa Dorsey, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-3. Those  three  runs gave  Dorsey a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gracie Goodrich, who  scored four  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Palisades  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .743. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in four consecutive  contests.
Palisades' victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Olympic,  they are  on  a  15-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Palisades will  face off against  rival Ballantyne Ridge  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Olympic is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Myers Park  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
