Colbert has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Rock Creek Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th. Colbert will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Rock Creek is ranked 107th).
Back in December of 2023, things could have been worse for Colbert, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 63-49 loss to Rock Creek.
Colbert's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Rock Creek, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
Colbert ended up a good deal behind Rock Creek in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, losing 63-49. Can Colbert avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
