The Anna Coyotes entered their tilt with the Aubrey Chaparrals with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Anna strolled past Aubrey with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 52-37. For Anna, this counts as revenge for the 50-47 defeat Aubrey walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Valajah Jackson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayonna Cooper, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Anna pushed their record up to 12-10 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Aubrey, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.
Anna will be playing in front of their home fans against Celina at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aubrey, they will head out on the road to face off against Van Alstyne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
