Another player making a difference was Yasmin Croom, who scored six points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Viera now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Melbourne, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
