The Oviedo Lions waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They walked away with a 63-53 win over Master's Academy. For Oviedo, this counts as revenge for the 55-49 loss Master's Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2019.
Cameron Bryant continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Harper, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Oviedo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Master's Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
Oviedo will take on Wekiva at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wekiva is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Master's Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Foundation Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
