Abbotsford won the last time they faced Owen-Withee, and Caylee Clement did her part to make sure it happened again. The Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Blackhawks on Monday, sneaking past 2-1 with plenty of help from Clement, who had five digs and four aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more aces the last nine times she's played.

Abbotsford was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (56-55), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-21, 15-10.

The victory made it two in a row for Abbotsford and bumps their season record up to 6-6. As for Owen-Withee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Abbotsford has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Phillips on the 9th. As for Owen-Withee, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Colby at 7:15 p.m. on the 30th.
