Hermleigh has gone a perfect 10-0 against Roby recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cardinals will face off against the Lions at 4:30 p.m. Hermleigh is coming into the game hot, having won their last 15 games.
Last Friday, Hermleigh made easy work of Crosbyton and carried off a 21-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Peyton Miller was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring five runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hailey Minton, who scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. J'Lynn Munoz was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Roby duked it out with Snyder on Friday. The Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Tigers.
Calie Hernandez was incredible, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariela Castaneda, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.
Hermleigh's record now sits at 15-1. As for Roby, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hermleigh has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 8.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Roby struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Hermleigh took their victory against Roby in their previous matchup last Friday by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
